Gunnar Bjarni Ragnarsson

Professional experience: Medical oncologist at Landspítali University Hospital of Iceland (since 2011) and Chief of Medical Oncology (2015-2018); Medical oncologist at the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (2008-2011). Conducted Phase 1/2 clinical trials at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center 2004-2011 where cancer-specific immune cells (T-lymphocytes) were developed and produced for treatment of relapsed leukemia after stem cell transplantation. Experience in set-up and use of c-GMP units (Clinical Good Manufacturing Procedures) to produce T-lymphocytes for use in patients, standardization of methods and quality control, grant applications to research foundations and communication with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Has participated in and led clinical research at Landspítali with emphasis on cancer immunotherapy and various quality improvement projects at Landspítali, e.g. those related to electronic medical records and digital solutions for patient treatment (digital care). Extensive experience in writing and evaluating grant applications to Icelandic and international research foundations.

Arnar Evgeni Gunnarsson

Professional experience: Arnar has been involved in programming since 2014 and writes scripts in Python, Matlab, Java, C and C ++. His mechanical engineering specialty is engineering design and development of mathematical models that predict engine failure and are based, among other things, on vibration analysis. He has also worked on automation of production processes using programming, data analysis and creation of software solutions based on this analysis, design of machine parts and installation of information technology/servers.
Hrafnhildur Agnarsdottir
Bioinformatician and systems biologist

Professional experience: Hrafnhildur's main projects have been in the field of statistics and genetics, but she has also worked on software development and data analysis since 2019. She has been involved in the design of forecast models, processing and analysis of RNA and DNA data in genome and whole-genome studies. She has specialized in Bayesian statistical methods in the fields of genetics, life science, evolutionary biology and biometrics, as well as software development for this methodology.
